La-Von is a Board Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Florida, and certified by the AHA as a BLS, ACLS, PALS and Heart Saver instructor/ She has trained over 1,000 providers in how to perform CPR and many others as to how to become an instructor and start a profitable training business. Hence who better to teach life saving classes than someone who is in the trenches of life to death situations. She is also a successful serial nurse entrepreneur owning several successful businesses. She is a business consultant and have helped numerous nurse entrepreneurs start their businesses, set up a robust business profile for business credit and created marketing strategies for them to increase their revenues. Before becoming a nurse, La-Von, who also holds a M.B.A also worked for Coca-Cola as an accountant. This unique combination of business savvy and nurse training makes her the go to person for nurses who are feeling stuck, stressed out, burned out and looking for an alternative to nursing to give training on how to start a successful and rewarding business.
Ms. McPhee-Lopez has several years experience as an ICU nurse and educator with specialties in Neurosurgical, cardiac and medical surgical pathologies/ La-Von also assists in providing roving Code Blue exercises throughout the hospital to ensure that all healthcare provider staff remain vigilant and ready to respond to a Code Blue situation . She has successfully trained and coached nurses to start their very own successful CPR Training Business.
